Intelligent Interfaces has had a long relationship with Acorn Computers, beginning in 1981 when they designed, developed and manufactured the Acorn IEEE488 Interface for the BBC Microcomputer. Supporting this product led to many long-term relationships with customers which continue to this day. Most of these customers have engineering, scientific or medical applications and are carrying out academic research or industrial development. Intelligent Interfaces also has customers with commercial applications, and supplies home computer users. Intelligent Interfaces has gained considerable knowledge through the design and development of its own range of hardware and software products, which has placed the company in an ideal position to advise, supply and support customers, whether they are purchasing a single interface or a complete RISC OS-based computer system. Intelligent Interfaces also undertakes consultancy work.
