Despite its name, Acorn Publisher has never been a magazine for publishers. There are publishers who read the magazine (quite a few), and many of Acorn Publisher's contributors are directly involved in the processes of transferring their words and pictures into the public domain. But throughout the last eight years, the magazine has always been about using a computer and producing a presentation about which one can be proud. The 'one' may be a publisher; but frequently 'one' is just an ordinary person wanting to be pleased with the work that he or she produces.
