Further information

Formerly known as the Suffolk Acorn Risc Club (SARC), the the club changed its name in April 2000 as part of a revitalisation plan for the 2000s, and to reflect the opening of our doors to multi-platform users (e.g. Linux, Psion, PCs etc.)

The change does not indicate any abandonment of our RISC OS interests, which will continue to be the backbone of our activities.

The new name is derived from that of the ancient Anglo-Saxon Iceni tribe, which lived in Southeast Anglia, the catchment area from which the club draws its membership.
